BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Authorities are investigating a fatal SUV accident in Broward County early Wednesday morning, according to NBC Miami.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 30-year-old woman was driving south on I-75 when she lost control of her SUV near Miramar Parkway at about 1:45 a.m.
The vehicle veered onto a median and crashed into a concrete wall, the FHP said.
One passenger, a 60-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at Memorial Regional Hospital. The driver was seriously injured. A 30-year-old man and 8-year-old boy who were the other two passengers sustained minor injuries.
The four people in the SUV were all Miami residents.
