HIALEAH, FL - Police in Hialeah are investigating a hit-and-run accident that left a cyclist dead last week.

WSVN reports authorities are searching for a white van that was involved in the incident in the area of East 35th Street and 10th Avenue last Friday.

The driver of the van left the scene after the crash, which sent the cyclist into some parked cars.  Neighbors rushed to help but the victim had died by the time police arrived.

Police have released surveillance video of the vehicle they are looking for.
