BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Three people were injured in a pickup truck crash in Broward County on Thursday afternoon, WSVN reports.
The accident happened on the Alligator Alley portion of Interstate 75 at about 12:30 p.m.
Authorities said the driver lost control of the pickup near mile marker 45 and the vehicle rolled over several times. At least one person was ejected, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The three people injured were airlifted to an area hospital.
A stretch of I-75 was closed in both directions for about an hour while the scene was being cleared.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
