WEST PALM BEACH, FL - A motorcycle rider died after colliding with a car in Palm Beach County Friday night, according to WPTV.
The incident occurred in the area of Okeechobee Boulevard and Citation Drive in West Palm Beach shortly before 7:30 p.m.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said 28-year-old Clint Wayne Southard was riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 when he improperly applied the rear brake and steered into a Cadillac ATS that was preparing to make a left on Citation Drive.
The motorcycle hit the rear passenger door of the car, and the impact knocked Southard to the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
