MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL - An elderly driver was killed when her car crashed in southwest Miami Dade-County Tuesday morning.
According to WPLG, police responded to the scene in the vicinity of Southwest 117th Avenue near 195th Street in the South Miami Heights neighborhood at about 9:30 a.m. Investigators said the woman drove off the road and crashed into a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by her granddaughter as 81-year-old Olga Choza.
Police are trying to determine what led to the fatal crash.
