MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL - Authorities are searching for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run in Northwest Miami-Dade last month, reports WSVN.
The accident happened on Dec. 15, when a sedan slammed into the outside of a home near Northwest 14th Avenue and 77th Terrace after colliding with an SUV. The sedan's driver, 40-year-old Edward Durden, was killed.
The driver of the SUV ran away following the crash. Miami-Dade Police released two images on Monday of a man they are trying to identify in connection with the incident.
The victim's uncle, Rev. Anthony Durden, said he showed police cellphone video of the driver standing by the vehicles before leaving the scene.
Anyone with information about the man being sought was asked to contact Miami-Dade Police or Crime Stoppers.
