WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The driver of a pickup truck was killed when he ran off the road in West Palm Beach early Saturday morning, according to WPTV.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as 38-year-old Yuver Hidalgo Lopez of Palm Springs. Investigators said he was driving a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 on Congress Avenue near Gun Club Road at about 3:30 a.m. when he changed lanes in front of another vehicle.
Lopez's vehicle lost traction and went off the right side of the roadway, crashing into a light pole and a palm tree. The pickup truck ended up on the passenger side. Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.
