DANIA BEACH, FL - The driver of an SUV slammed into an apartment building in Dania Beach Friday, according to WPLG.
The incident happened at the Emerald Hills apartment complex at 4200 SW 53 Court. A woman who lives at the complex was attempting to park her Kia SUV when she said she unable to apply her brakes. The vehicle ended up crashing into a neighbor's apartment.
The driver had her children with her at the time but no one in the vehicle was hurt, and no other injuries were reported.
There was structural damage on the first floor of the building, and engineers were headed to the scene to evaluate the situation.
