DAVIE, FL - Police say two vehicles that were drag racing were involved in a fatal collision in Davie. According to NBC Miami, the accident happened in the area of Stirling Road and Northwest 77th Avenue last Friday night.
Investigators said a car making a right turn onto Stirling Road was hit by one of the racing vehicles, fatally injuring its driver. The person's identity was not released.
The other driver in the crash suffered arm injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Police believed speeding was a factor in the fatal crash, but were continuing their investigation.
