PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL - A car crash in Palm Beach County early on Christmas Day left two people dead, according to WPTV.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 25-year-old woman driving a sedan on Congress Avenue failed to stop at a red light and struck a sedan that was going west on Forest Hill Boulevard shortly after 4 a.m.
The first vehicle went through a tree line before coming to rest against an oil change business. The second vehicle hit a traffic sign post.
The driver of the first vehicle, a Stuart resident, and a passenger in the second vehicle, a 23-year-old man from Puerto Rico, sustained fatal injuries.
Three other people in the second car were hospitalized in serious condition.
The FHP is continuing to investigate the wreck.
