FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - A home in Fort Lauderdale has been deemed unsafe after a truck-mounted crane tipped over onto the structure.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the accident occurred within the 1900 block of Northeast 57th Street at around 11:00 a.m., as the crane was moving a shed on the residential property.

First responders say the operator was injured in the accident, but was able to exit the crane on his own.

The accident also downed power lines, causing a loss of electricity for residents in the area for most of the day Friday.
