MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL - State troopers said a car and a pickup truck were involved in a fatal collision in Southwest Miami-Dade County last week.
According to WSVN, the incident happened on the Don Shula Expressway at about 1 p.m. Thursday. The Florida State Patrol said the driver of a silver BMW lost control in the northbound lanes near the Florida Turnpike and crashed into the pickup.
One person was thrown from the car and died at the scene. The victim's identity was not released. Two other people were transported to Jackson South Medical Center. Their injuries were not regarded as life-threatening.
