FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Two women were rushed to the hospital after their car crashed and went up in flames in Fort Lauderdale Sunday morning.
According to WSVN, first responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash on Interstate 95 at State Road 84. Investigators said that a red car slammed into a guardrail and caught fire, trapping the two women inside.
The two were rescued and taken to Broward Health, where they were listed in serious condition.
The fire was extinguished by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue. Police are now trying to determine what caused the crash.
