ORANGE COUNTY, FL - Two men were killed Friday when their sedan crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with another car, News 6 reports.
Police say that the accident happened on Hoffner Avenue when the westbound vehicle's 24-year-old driver lost control while attempting to change lanes and instead crossed over the median and into the eastbound lanes, where he collided with a second sedan. The force of the crash pushed the second car into an SUV.
The 24-year-old driver and his 39-year-old passenger were thrown from the vehicle. The driver was killed in the crash, while the passenger was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
The 50-year-old man driving the second sedan reported minor injuries, as did the 50-year-old woman behind the wheel of the SUV.
