PLANTATION, FL - A search is underway for a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was fatally struck in Broward County over the weekend, WSVN reports.
Police say a 36-year-old man was hit by a vehicle on North State Road 7 in Plantation Sunday morning at about 2:30 a.m. The victim's identity was not immediately released.
Two vehicles fled the scene of the incident, witnesses told Plantation police. But it was not immediately clear which of the two hit the pedestrian.
Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers.
