DANIA BEACH, FL - Police have one suspect in custody following a chase that resulted in two separate crashes last Friday.
According to WSVN, Broward County Sheriff's deputies were attempting to stop a stolen vehicle when the driver crashed with a police cruiser in the 2900 block of Johnson Street. The male suspect then drove off from the scene.
The stolen vehicle was spotted moments later on Griffin Road near I-96 after being involved in another crash. Police took the man into custody on a number of charges.
Neither the deputy in the cruiser or the driver involved in the second crash were injured.
