PORT ST. LUCIE, FL - Two individuals were hospitalized after being involved in a head-on collision in Northwest Port St. Lucie Sunday morning.
According to WFLX, the accident occurred in a residential neighborhood at the intersection of Southwest Plantation Terrace and Southwest California Boulevard.
One driver needed to be airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. The other driver was transported to a local hospital via ambulance; their injuries are unknown at this time.
An investigation into the cause of the crash remains active.
